Cheyenne Glade Wilson is a fifth generation cattle rancher and has a rich history of ranching and horsemanship in her family. Cheyenne is an enrolled member of the Oglala Lakota Sioux tribe which is how she came up with her blog website name, The Native Cowgirl.
Cheyenne, her husband and son reside on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota on the Lazy Six Nine Ranch where they breed half-draft cross horses and raise black angus beef cattle.
Throughout the years, Cheyenne has dabbled in several "side-hustles" which eventually became a way for her to drive more income for the ranch and do what her and her family love most; ranching and raising level headed, strong horses that can perform necessary work on the ranch or on a trail.
In addition to the half-draft horse breeding program, Cheyenne is a writer, blogger, network marketing saleswoman, entrepreneur, certified health coach, photographer and horsewoman. She has found a way to diversify and expand her knowledge to bring a steady income to provide for the ranch to succeed.
Cheyenne is passionate about entrepreneurship and helping others succeed in their own journeys by embracing who they are and leading with a healthy lifestyle.
